Tips & Tricks

Sick of using a metal butter knife to cut the cake, only for your entire creation to crumble to pieces? Check out this simple trick that you will use on every special occasion.

  1. Use unflavored, unwaxed floss. The last thing you want is for your cheese to have a minty flair to it.
  2. Prepare the proper floss length to suit your cutting needs. Make sure to leave enough room for your fingers to wrap around the ends for extra stability.
  3. Holding the ends of your floss tightly, apply pressure through the item you are wanting to slice.

This little tip can be used for a variety of foods, including soft cheeses, cake, cheesecake, hard-boiled eggs, and homemade pastries. Enjoy!
